How to prepare your own video activity:
Grammar Goal: Simple Past x Past Continuous
• Select a scene in which the characters’ actions are interrupted during the segment.
• Prepare an exercise in which the students have to identify when to use the target structures.
• Make sure the students know when to use both verb tenses before they actually do the exercise.

ReplyDeleteHi Claudio. This is such a great blog and i just want to echo the thoughts of all your other admirers who have made good use of the site. I'm planning a lesson with some intermediate learners for tomorrow night on the past simple/cont and this clip will be great. Just one minor thing to point out though, this clip is not from the end of the movie. Rather the 3rd section. I know this because i've been searching for a higher quality version on Youtube for a few hours now on and off! Here's the Youtube link if anyone is having the same problem as me :)

Keep up the great work!
It was very useful and clear. Thank you
